Visiting Creston's most happening store,  Gleaners thrift shop.  Excellent selection of whatever you're looking for.

Then we went to the grocery store.

Grandma wanted to know what I thought of bulk candy.  Once I know what "bulk" and "candy" are, I'll let her know.

She also took me for a ride around her living room.  Faster, Grandma, faster.

Hanging out in SoCal

When we got to California, we stayed on a yacht that's being refurbished. Grandpa let me steer.

Now is a good chance to catch up on my sleep.

Mom pretended we were cruising the Caribbean Sea but we were really just in Long Beach.

Afterwards, we went to Balboa Beach...

where mom dipped me in the Pacific.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the experience.

Balboa Beach has really big waves that break close to shore.

Riding the rails

After a bus ride to Seattle, we finally got on the train.

It went really fast.

I like the train's observation car.

We crossed the Columbia River in Portland.

That was a fun first day on the train but it tired me out.

A bunch of cousins joined us in San Francisco.

I'm not getting much rest...

Okay, I'm ready to get there.

The train gives us a great view of the ocean.
