A fiddlin good time

We went to the fiddling competition in Weiser, ID.  Before the National Grand Champion finals there was a battle of the bluegrass bands in the park.

 

Oohh.  Banjo.

 

I dig this outdoor concert thing.

 

Great music but I had to rest up for the competition.

The main event.  (OK actually this was taken Friday night during the earlier rounds but our seats were further away during the finals and we didn't get any good pictures).  The fiddling was great but so were the accompanists, some of them played with almost all of the fiddlers!

This woman was in the Adult competition, not in the Grand Champion division. But I thought she sounded great. If you listen, you can hear me singing along...
